Engineering · Full-time · Mid–Senior · 2 openings · Posted 3 days ago
About the role
You will work end to end on the product engineers and operators actually use. That means building APIs, wiring up integrations, designing data models, and polishing the frontend so the chat feels fast and credible. You will be the second and third engineering hires, so you will shape the stack and the rituals.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain product features across the full stack: backend services, database schema, and React UI.
- Integrate with lenders, document parsers, and data sources that feed the strategist.
- Write tests, observability, and error handling that keep the product reliable as usage grows.
- Collaborate with design and underwriting to turn complex capital concepts into simple UI.
- Contribute to engineering process and help keep the codebase healthy as the team scales.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of full-stack product engineering with shipped work you can discuss.
- Strong TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with a modern React framework.
- Comfortable with SQL, REST/GraphQL APIs, and at least one backend framework.
- Track record of shipping features quickly while writing maintainable code.
- Clear written communication and the ability to work async across time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or serverless/edge platforms.
- Fintech, lending, or real estate domain knowledge.
- Interest in LLMs or conversational interfaces.
Compensation, equity & stock options
- Base salary range
- $95K – $160K
- Equity grant range
- 0.05% – 0.20%
Variable pay: Annual performance bonus up to 15% of base
Stock options: Equity is not guaranteed. Stock option grants are considered case by case and, when granted, are finalized after one year of employment. Ranges shown are indicative, not an offer.
Final offers depend on experience and location. Ranges shown are what we actually pay — we don't post a range we won't honor.

- 130-minute intro call with the hiring manager
- 260-minute technical deep dive on a project you shipped
- 3Paid take-home or live pairing session (your choice)
- 4Final conversation with the founders
Typical time from application to offer: 2–3 weeks.
